Welcome to LMS

To predict landslides in hilly areas, we propose a system combining Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and IoT. It uses 12 geological sensors across four nodes to monitor rainfall, soil moisture, and ground angle. Data is sent via GSM to a cloud server for analysis, providing early warnings to locals. The system will be validated through a scaled-down physical simulation.

The early warning system is enhanced using both point-to-point (SMS-PP) and cell broadcast (SMS-CB) messaging to alert residents in high-risk zones. This real-time monitoring and effective warning system can significantly reduce the loss of life and property.

Landslide Monitoring

This project deploys wireless sensors on hillsides to monitor soil stability. It analyzes real-time data on moisture and movement, sending immediate landslide warnings via SMS to at-risk communities, saving lives and property.

Live Weather

Live weather sensors deliver real-time, on-site rainfall data. This immediate meteorological input is a primary trigger for the automated landslide early warning system.
